Athiests,and all religions :are the wedding vows you make to god binding forever?
when couples marry they make vows before god,like fore sake all others and make a promise forever and because its a promise before and to god they can never be broken,but alot of people are skeptical god even exists,just the faith that he does,so at the end of the day is that promise before god even real? like saying you can never fall in love with another or you are breaking your promise to god,can i have your views on this please thanks

Aron and I are getting hitched this summer, and idk what to say.Oh, come off it. You don't know what it feels like when you feel like anything you isn't good enough for the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.I'm a 20 year old pre law student, not a professional poet.I mean to write " anything you say isn't good enough."
I didn't want to say "obey" in my wedding vows and got bashed for it?
The night before my wedding, I told the priest that I didn't want the word " obey" in our wedding vows because it seemed unfair, considering the fact that the man doesn't have to say it. He told me that if I wasn't ready to obey my husband, I wasn't ready to be married. It really made me mad. Does this make any sense or was I just being overly analytical? I take my vows seriously, and that's why it was a deal to me. Any answers?Note This isn't a question for anyone to start bashing others' beliefs, atheist or christian.

IS a freemason's oath stronger than his wedding vows?
I am having an extremely hard time with my husband becoming a free mason as I have read that the oath a free mason takes during initiation is more powerful than his wedding vows. Not that these weddings occur that often, but when they do is it cultural for them to " drop sum rimes" to a " phat beat" when they get married as a token of their commitment to eachother?

I've never read anything in scriptures about wedding vows?
There were huge parties receptions somtimes,but what about actual wedding " vows" ? It's almost like if they slept togther, that meant they were married concubines . Even for Adam and Eve, there was no ceremony. Does this mean if a man and woman cohabitate they are married in Gods eyes? Please use scripture to back it up. Thanks.
