Well, generally they have some fun little games, serve hors d'oevres and girly drinks, do lots of talking and, (if the bride's family carries this tradition), open gifts if any are recieved. Generally though, it's just a mingling party with little games and chatting. Your current plans pretty much cover everything, and the shower needn't be more than an hour or two (most people will appreciate it being shorter) Skip the movie. Playing a movie implies that you don't trust people to be able to provide interesting conversation and must entertain them in other ways. |
