Question: I am the maid of honor and i need to plan a "personal wedding shower" for the bride.?

First, what is a personal wedding shower and what all do I need to do in order to have a great personal shower for her? Just give me some pointers that would be GREAT! :)

A personal bridal/ wedding shower is the shower in which the gifts are to be things like lingerie, bedroom toys, and sexy naughty things! ;O) Personally, I think it is just another way to milk even more gifts out of people! I mean heck! They have bridal showers where you bring a gift then...bachelorette parties where traditionally lingerie or toys is given...and then the wedding, where you bring whatever they registered for! Argh!

It's more for the Bride's friends, wedding party and closest family. it is for the "wedding night " kind of thing and generally includes either a luncheon or evening out. it's not all about the gifts, in fact, it could be labled "Gag Gifts only ". Take a hint from young hollywood...they go to the "Ivy " for luncheon and fun. Make it the colors of the wedding, but pure fun.
