Question: Are wedding favors pretty popular?

Hello all I was wondering if wedding favors are popular in this day and age. I've only been to one wedding but it was outside the country. There didn't seem to be that many so I'm not sure. I was thinking of getting some from http:/ / centerpiecesandfavors.com which has a lot of interesting and elegant stuff but if there are other options like wedding boutiques that would be better. I'm the best man for a wedding and am helping in the setup process. HELP!

As a professional wedding planner the whole favor thing has gotten out of control. my recommendation - if you have to get it then do but if its not part of your culture - do not. some of the nicest i've seen were photo frames, heart shaped measuring spoons or (my favorite) empty chinese take out containers with Sweet Dream written on them. toward the end of the evening a sweets table gets rolled out and you put in your favorites.

It all depends on how much the budget is. Some brides get all the bridesmaids jewelry to go with the bridesmaid dresses, and stuff like that can get extremely expensive. There are, however many little things you can do that are fun, and inexpensive. I went to a wedding once where they had disposably cameras set out on each table. That way the guests could take picutures of what they thought was the highlight of the reception. Also, candy bags are quite popular and a great way to help with the favors. Many favors in weddings today serve a purpose (ex: if you serve ice cream at the reception, then ice cream bowls as a favor.) Check out favorwarehouse.com. They have exceptional wedding favors, and for a lot cheaper than that certerpiece one. best of luck!

Ya they are really important. Get chocolates wrapped in papers that have the bride and grooms names and wedding date. Cheep and people love em! Any other questions email me and make the subject "Kia, help me with this wedding! " I will respond cuz i've been a bridesmaid and a bride! ( =

Yes, Gifts to Guests will make pleasure with them and it will keep remind them ,and will get these kind of wedding favors in a cheap price ,Even now we can buy these favors in a customized gift .I bought some favors from discountfavors.com/ its really nice one . Derwyn
