Question: What color wedding dress would you ladies want for your wedding?

I got married in Morocco and wore a lavender, green and then white dress. Definetly not a big puffy dress, I remember when I was a little girl I used to be forced to wear those ridiculously frilly, eye-catching, bright dresses to weddings. I hated having to wear them, they felt so itchy and uncombortable. For some reason I'm always more drawn to admire bridesmaid dresses because they're not too extrvegant, rather than the actual bride's dress. I'm planning on breaking a trend of wearing a Sari or other desi clothing like a skirt and top, and go for beautiful dress. I think I'd like a simple dress, preferrably white and a pale blue. I know it's a 'big day' but I'd prefer to play simple any day of the year ;)

Asslaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullah Wa-Barakatahu. I'm already married...but just want to answer hope you don't mind that. My was typical Pakistani wedding dress the first day (baraat) i wore a white maroon dress cultivated with gold. the second day i got a wedding dress from my in law side that was purple and green also culitaveted with gold and stones it was a very heavy dress tho.

Idk but when i went to my aunts wedding when i was 6, she was wearing this teal and gold dress and it looked so pretty!

I would have loved to have white lace but..................... didn't happen for me. I'm too shy to say what I wore. LOL My daughter wants a white saree with gold trim.

For a wedding dress I wouldnt mind ivory for the colour its more vintage but I wouldnt mind white either (preferably if it had some other colour on it to break the ice i.e. red or black) I love medieval or victorian dresses but I also wouldnt mind a dress with a simple corset and a massive skirt bottom made from tulle (tutu material)
