Question: Can the groom wear a wedding dress, as well as the bride?

There are no real rules for modern weddings, you can do whatever you like as long as you both agree to it.

Well it is that persons wedding although that would just be plain weird and quite odd. I guess they could do it but, I believe that to just be absurd and quite strange and very stupid as well. But hey, what ever the crap works am I right? I mean if a dude wants to wear a dress and his wife too well they can have their pyscho wedding. My only question is what will the best man and other men be wearing ? :O

Here in Canada, where same sex marriages are LEGAL, that could happen. In general, if two men are getting married to each other, they both wear a suit, or a tuxedo, to the ceremony. In the case of a lesbian wedding, the women may choose to both wear a gown, or the male half may wear a suit and tie, and the female half wears a gown or a dress, their choice. The wedding party is free to choose , with the couple, their colours and styles of clothing, for the ceremony. Canada is a much more liberal country than the USA, and it shows in many of our social traditions, and practises. It is common here to see adverts in jewellery stores for gay wedding ring sets and anniversary gifts and entire wedding shows for the gay community's interests. TV commercials routinely show gay couples as being "mainstream people ' not some kind of oddity, and of course we have national political and business leaders who are openly gay and no body sees it as anything out of the ordinary.
