When ellen got married to her girlfriend, she wore the tux and her girlfriend wore the wedding dress, so?

Question: When ellen got married to her girlfriend, she wore the tux and her girlfriend wore the wedding dress, so?

If "Ellen " is the male side of this marriage, why does she advertise for women's make- up? Wouldn't it make more sense for her to advertise for some men's product?

I never thought of that and will continue not to

Oh dear. Your first mistake: "male side of this marriage ". FAIL.

There is no bloody male side in an lesbian marriage; both people are FEMALE!

You're level 5. Your avatar makes you look like a mature woman. So why are you trying to inflate your ego by trying to put us down? You're only embarrassing yourself. Look, some people in this section come here looking for help. Sometimes it's a simple "Am I gay omg help meeee " but occasionally we get a "I'm worried my parents will kick me out 'cause I'm gay. " Those are the people we need to be helping, and you are wasting our time.

They are both women and it has nothing at all to do with the way that they choose to dress.

There is no such thing as male side of a lesbian couple...remember Ellen is still a female. she still has a vagina...she wears make-up regardless...she is on tv! What woman doesn't wear makeup on tv? So, she can advertise makeup because she is a woman...she will never be a man therefore she shouldn't advertise men's products like razors and rogaine for men...

Well, she is a woman...

Just because she is more masculine doesn't mean she is a man. She is a big TV personality who is also a woman, so, Covergirl wanted her to advertise make-up, so? Plus, it would be REALLY weird for her to do something like advertise a men's product. She isn't really associated to men at all.

Not in my book. Ellen just dressed in a way that she was comfortable with. That doesn't mean she is any kind of advocate for men's products of any kind and it doesn't mean she is mannish. A woman can wear a tux if she prefers and still be proud to be a woman - a lesbian. It may seem like a hetero tradition, but it's time to think outside the box. I am a lesbian and I did not wear a gown or a tux the day I married my wife. I just wore a nice outfit - nice pants and a long sleeve dark shirt. My wife wore a red and black handmade gown.

Ellen is a woman! Butch women (not that Ellen is exactly butch) are women, they can be whatever they like dress, however they like, as can femmes. I am a femme and I can wear jeans and a t shirt and still be femme, Ellen can be (very soft) butch and wear make up. Wearing trousers or a suit doesn't make you a man or mean you wanna be one, or that you even take a traditional "male " role, it just means that's how you are comfortable in yourself. It really doesn't!! My ex is a butch, and she is most definitely a WOMAN just not a girlie woman. Why would Ellen advertise a male product? She is a woman? When you wear jeans or unisex clothes do you become male? No? Well neither does Ellen!!

He wore a tux because she felt more comfortable in a tux, in my opinion there is not "male " or "female " side of a marraige, there are just two lovers. and if she wants to advertise for womans make-up will it effect you any? no. so why even bring it up?

There is no male side...they are both feminine in their own way...thats kinda the point of liking other girls...they are girls. and she didnt wear a tux it was more of a women's suit. not what i would choose, but i wouldnt wear a dress either most likely. doenst make her manly, just makes her not feel as comfortable in dresses

She wears make up, and therefore has every right to promote the product. for all I care, a man who wears make up could advertise make up so long as he truly represents the product. gender really has not much to do with things like clothing and the sort.
