I bought my husband a new wedding band for christmas. In 2006 for Christmas he proposed to me. So my plan is to give him a nice new band with a letter saying " 5 years ago today you gave me a ring, asking me to spend the rest of my life with you. Its my turn to give you a ring to show you how much I love you I know this sounds corny, but I feel like he needs a nice new band after he has beat up the last one. I don't just wanna give it to him in a ring box. I thought about a travel coffee cup and tie a string to the lid when he opens it the ring will dangle with the note inside. Problem, I can't find a decent coffee cup he will like. Any creative ideas that doesn't involve food, or anything inappropriate?

In America they have wedding bands, in India they have red dots that women wear on their forehead which means they are married. I am sure there are others. What if there are married women who walk around in public without them on? Is this a form of adultery?

My Fiancee bought a gorgeous engagement ring and wedding band set. We're not yet married but I'm curious if I can " get away with" wearing my wedding band on my left ring finger and my engagement ring on my right ring finger? Though both are beautiful, the wedding band is actually wider than the engagement ring and to be honest after trying the two on together it's a bit too much combined with the engagement ring. I'm not sure this can be fixed as fusing them together wouldn't make it look any smaller. Any suggestions?
