Question: Who's your favorite alternative hip hop artist?

No mainstream, those aren't artists My fav is Mos Def I mean those who have that mainstream rap and hip hop style

Mos Def IS mainstream and isn't really Alt. The Pharcyde, Blue Scholars , A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, Pharoahe Monch, VV He's on the border IMO, some of his work is, somes not but he is mainstream. EDIT: I get what you mean by mainstream, like Wayne, Drake, those guys but theres a difference between mainstream and commercial rappers. IMO... Commercial = Radio Friendly Sound (Ex: Lil Wayne) Mainstream = Charts High (Ex: Mos Def)
