Why do people give out peanut halloween treats?
everyone knows about peanut allergies so why do i get 25 % of my kids halloween treats as peanut? like reese's pieces and M& M peanut?What if a kids comes home and eats it without the parent knowing?Bigger question, why do M& M and Reese's sell peanut products in small halloween packages?To me, those companies hsould be held responsible because it is intentional act.wow what a me me me society.like reese's pieces is the only candy all of you people can eat. Ill bet all of you except 1st poster dont have kids. When you do, you'll realize life isnt all about you.even before I had kids, I would get peanut free treats. its just common sense. why not get treats that everyone can eat?My kid would have a very mild reaction but I know a lot of kids would have a serious reaction. I think its the demise of humanity when people care more about capitalism than compassion.

Unique and healthy Halloween treat ideas?
I am wondering about what to give my trick or treaters this year...I would like a budget friendly option that won't add to all the sugary candies their bags will be stuffed with. I'm going to pass up the popcorn balls idea, I never knew many kids growing up who liked those. I'd like to make or purchase something they'd LOVE, but that their parents would also appreciate. Also I wonder if many parents like the idea of the homemade treats, since there is always worry of sick people who put poison or razor blades in the treats, just for fun...I don't want to worry the moms and dads...One more thing, we had trick or treaters last year, but we lived in an apartment then, and I don't know if it was because the apartment complex had a bad reputation there had been shootings before and so the only kids who came to our door were the kids who actually LIVED there, and only about 5 or 6 of them stopped by...we live in a semi suburban neighborhood now, and I'm sure we'll get at least ONE kid rapping on our door, but I don't want to get too many treats of less than ten children are even going to bother....What is your advice?
