There is no 13 story haunted house in AZ or anywhere. It's a myth. Supposedly there's this 13 story haunted house that nobody seems to know exactly where it is but knows someone who does. You pay a huge fee to go in and, if you make it to all the floors, get your money back. Except it aint real. I work in the haunt industry. It is EXTREMELY expensive to produce a haunted attraction. Nobody is going to give all your money back. Some houses have tried to capitalize on the myth by giving a portion of your money back if you complete a card with 13 stamps, except the last stamp is impossible to get across a moat or suspended in midair. This myth probably got started as a result of two Kansas City houses which are multi-story (but don't give any money back) and one of them includes a slide that goes from the top floor down to the basement. I've linked a site that lists the actual, real haunted houses in the Phoenix area. I've been to Fear Farm, Twisted Big Top, The Revenant, and Doomtown. I'd recommend Fear Farm or Shadowlands.

It's a urban legend. This story is told in many ways, for every town. Here's the thing... It's not real, it's a hoax. Some Radio DJ's made it up one year and posted this on a website to get more people interested... and get them more calls! Sorry but if you do a search you can find many sites that say the same thing. Now this same story is being spread around the country like an urban legend. There are no Haunted Houses that offer you a refund or double your money back.
