How do i deal with jerks when running a halloween haunted house?
Hi.Yesterday for the first time my friends and I ran a haunted house. It went pretty good it was a Sweeney Todd theme , except for a couple groups that were totally filled with a holes and jerks They made fun of our accents, refused to play along and were completely rude to us, making commentss about everything. It was very frustrating because we worked hard. We tried to deal with them at first by asking them to leave if they wouldnt be respectful, and they wouldnt, so some of my friends lost thier tempers and stared cursing them out. I couldnt control them even though i was a tour guide.Anyway, we're doing it again next year, and if anyone has any tips on how to control completely rude and rowdy guests, that would be great Also, if you have any suggestions for the theme next year, that would be awesome. We want to stick to something old fashioned scary really scary but not cliche.Thanks

Good Characters for Halloween Haunted House?
Every year my family and I throw a haunted house for the neighborhood and we go all out People love coming every year and we do a great job in scaring even adults sometimes and this year we want it to be bigger and scarier than the years passed. So, we want to get as many scary characters in the haunted house as possible. So far we have Pin Head, Leather Face, Jason, Freddy, Daman from the Omen , IT, Jeepers Creepers, Michael Myers, Carrie and the chick from the Grudge. Now, did we miss anyone? If someone held a Halloween Haunted House in their basement, would you go?
This Halloween, a few friends and myself are holding a Haunted House attraction at my place. I want to do it in my basement, because it's pitch black at night. My friends, who are helping me build it, say they wouldn't go to a Haunted House if it was in someone's basement. Personally, I would. They want to do in my garage like I did with another friend of mine 4 years ago, but it just wasn't scary enough.So do you guy think it's a good idea? Would you go to a Haunted House in someone's basement?? I mean, it's just a Halloween attraction... Not going to kill anyone... Halloween Haunted House - Creating a glow room?
I'm preparing for my upcoming Halloween party I know it's early, but there's a lot of planning I'd like to know the best way to convert a room into a glow room for dancing, using black light. I'm thinking of using material as the backdrop, should it be light or dark? Can anyone recommend a good glow in the dark paint? I've already been to Michael's, but not the quality of paint I'm looking for. Thanks for your suggestions
My twelve yr old wants to go to a Halloween haunted house called the "Fear Factor". Should I let her go?
I really dont want her to go. Its mostly for adults and teens. She wants to go with her friends. Even though her friends mother will take them, I still dont like the idea. I remember going to a haunted house when I was 17 and it scared me to the point I couldnt sleep. What do they do at the new haunted house attractions anyways? I am sure they throw in some characters like Saw, Jeepers Creepers, Freddy or Jason but I wouldnt want to find out personally. My daughter has always been the kind to get scared for anything so I dont think it would be wise to send her. Am I right the be this way with her?

Haunted houses the Halloween kind, not real ones don't scare me. I usually end up laughing at all my friends who are jumping and screaming gee is that mean? . There are also other aspects of haunted houses I don't like the gore and themes like execution and insane asylums.
