Here's an idea for a decoration. One year for work, I made a giant spider and hung over my desk. What I did was this: I took a black trash bag (how big depends on how big you want your spider to be) and stuffed it with shredded paper (you could use anything light) in the shape of a ball. I cut out a mouth with small fangs from paper, colored it all bloody like, and taped it to the face of the spider. I did the same with wicked eyes. Then, to make the legs, all I did was take 8 smaller black trash bags, STILL FOLDED like they come in the box, and taped them to the underside of the spider (use black tape is u can). Then, I spread all the legs out across the ceiling. It looked like the spider was just hanging there, and it was SO cheap. Trash bags and paper! (Might wanna buy some of that cheap spider web stuff too, to add to the spook!) You can also make hanging ghosts from white trash bags. Use a balloon or a ball of some sort under the bag as the head, use a sharpie to color in black eyes and a circle mouth, and hang around with string. |
