I know in that time the epa, AKA "al gore robots " were in their full swing, and just bogging down power on engines because of their crap. I am going to be buying a 1979 Corvette with the L48 350 engine in it, and am wanting to to a rebuild to it, nothin major, just a .03 bore, and new internals, to make it a 355, and have a fresh start, get some new heads/ intake and carb. for the heads and intake, I'll go edelbrock, but for the carb would holley be better? and on a performance base 350 engine say wanting to make 300- 320hp, would a 4barrel car be better, and why? Also plan to put some headers on her, and maybe some cut- outs on it. and finally, HOW DO YOU REMOVE ALL OF AL GORE'S ROBOT PRODUCTS on this car? |
