Thanks, that's a lot longer than I thought. I kinda thought coaches and owners would go through them like a six pack.

On average around 18 -20 years. They experience very little abuse to their bodies and last the longest in the league over all other position players. There are a few kickers pushing mid 40's still out their kicking.

I t last more than any other position ...... because they only have kick.... and thats why they dont get hurt....... just look at jason hanson of lions...... he is 40.... still playin
