The Den, Old Trafford, Bramall Lane, Roker Park, Rake Lane (Third Division North club New Brighton) amongst others, ranging from slight damage to the total destruction of the main stand at Man United. Man U had to ground-share with City for about three seasons after the war until they had their stand rebuilt. Even then, it was roofless for the first season. New Brighton had to move back to their old ground

Arsenal's Highbury stadium was bombed during WW2. Ironically they played their home matches at White Hart Lane. The home of Tottenham Hotspur.
