Question: What's the best deal for taking a digital camera underwater?

Canon D10... about $330 Optio W30... about $150 Optio W60... about $300 Sony Cyber- shot 12.1 megapix. w/ sony waterproof case... total about $230 Canon powershot 12.1 megapix. w/ canon waterproof case... total about $360

The Canon D10 has a lot of good reviews regarding picture quality and very fast response time compared with the others. The only bad thing about it seems to be how bulky it is. I've gone through all those options in my search for a decent camera - finally decided on a Panasonic Lumix FT1. The Canon was my 2nd choice.

The June issue of Popular Photography compares 5 underwater cameras. You might want to read it. I might pick the Olympus Stylus Tough 8000.
