Question: Using my digital camera underwater (sony cybershot)?

I've just ordered a Sony Cybershot W110 and want to use it for underwater use when I go on holiday. I may want to take pictures say 2m deep into the water but I'd need something to protect the camera. Are there any kits you could recommend that would make it safe for me to take pictures underwater?

I would ask sony if they have an underwater housing for that model brace yerslf though - its gonna be very expensive

I cant find an underwater housing for that model. It might be worth ringing sony and seeing if they have one that will fit. The only other thing I know of is "aquapacs ". Sealed bags basically. I have no idea how good they are though!

The housings cost a bomb (if you can even get them for your specific model) I tried and failed and have used disposable underwater cameras whilst diving...great upto about 5m depth but it depends on the clarity of water! should get them from most camera shops or online for about £10
