Question: Digital camera, manual focus. do they exist?

I'm really into photography and I find that auto focus doesn't get me what I want. I was wondering if there was a digital camera with manual focus.

The Cannon Rebel is kind of a hybrid. It uses a shutter (unlike digital) but you don't need film and can instantly preview your pictures, delete them, or upload them onto a computer. It's actually much better quality than video stop cameras, instead of just pausing pixels, it's actually taking the picture. I absolutely love mine. Also, I think Cannon may have some other cameras that operate the same way. But the shutter/ instant review hybrid is definitely the way to go! Good luck! Oh, and yes, it does have a manual focus setting, as well as additional lenses that can be purchased separately.

DSLRs can all be manually focused but that's just not a feature you're going to find in a simple point and shoot.

Most digital cameras have some sort of manual focus option. Though on point and shoots it is often hidden inside a menu someplace. You'll have to consult the manual for the specific model.
